Performance Review on Lenovo PA10400 Power Bank
In the mid of 2016 where we are living inside a go mobile world, life seems awesome and everything around is very easy to access with just a ping on the touch screen - that's it!
But as we are getting so much dependent on these smart devices with so many applications installed, it is obvious that those apps do drain a lot of power from the gadget as well.
So, nowadays we all are concerned about battery draining, so what do we do?
Yes it's true there are a lot of tech contributors who write a lot on tips & tricks how to save battery life and do help us at times, but can we actually ignore the fact, we need a powerful backup support? If you ask me I'll say, No! and when I say that the first thing came to my mind is a power bank. I believe you too agree.

If you ask me I'll say, No! and when I say that the first thing came to my mind is a power bank. I believe you too agree.
I was in the hunt for the best price - well featured power bank until I stop by Lenovo PA10400 Power Bank on Flipkart website.
Let me tell you upfront features which I thought unique and at per my need:
- 1. First of all, the website was offering a 76% discount on the actual tag, so it came down from Rs. 4599 to Rs. 1099, which to me seemed within my budget.
- 2. Dual output USB interface: This feature was fairly new to me, and sound unique. What does this mean? Well, you can charge two devices(with the same unit) simultaneously(at the same time), and it can save a lot of time.
- 3. The device manufacturers also claim it has a protective design of electronics which means, it prevent your device from overcharging even if you charge the phone over night, it also safeguards it from short circuit or over discharge.
This safety features seemed useful to me and I didn't find it in any other brands/models in recent time.
- 4. Yes, they did claim it is even portable, and they didn't lie, it is handy and portable.
Having said the pros in the device,
I also found a few down points while using the device for a month after I purchased(based on its face value features):
These 2 shortcomings in the device may lower its merit(based on the above features - I mentioned)
- 1. After 15 days of use I slowly found some problem in cable sync or connection with my Asus smartphone, later I have tried with another phablet and tablet as well it has similar disconnection problem(although it's not regular but few times it does trouble me - it especially cause issue when you are middle of a task).
- 2. As I have said before, the company claimed you can able to use the power bank to charge two devices parallel, but you can hardly do, if you can't manage another compatible cable for that, you don't get the second wire for the extra device(in the kit).
Conclusion:
So, although it's a mix bag feature device, but I would suggest you to buy considering the ROI at a budget price of Rs.1099(offer price) and a few really unique qualities it offers.
The power backup of 10400 mAh is enough to charge at least 4 of your smart devices in full.
